Game Recap

The Sebeka Trojans defeated the Staples Motley Cardinals 7-0 on Thursday afternoon. The Trojans scored one in the sixth before breaking the game open with six runs in the seventh.

Kolby Kiser pitched all seven innings allowing only 2 hits while striking out six and walking 4. The defense did a great job behind him as they did not commit an error.

The Trojans got their first run on a walk to Noah Stevens who promptly stole second and moved to third on sacrifice bunt by Tucker Holmer. Kolby Kiser drove Noah in from third on a ground out.

Sebeka’s offense was led by Jack Lillquist and Brandon Miller who had two hits each. Also, recording hits in the game were William Hannu, Isaac Tellers, Caleb Puttonen, Noah Stevens, Kolby Kiser and Tyce Lee. Miller and Puttonen each had two RBI’s with Tellers and Kiser getting one each.

The Trojans will be in action again tomorrow at home against the Pillager Huskies.
