Sebeka High School
The Sebeka Trojans lost to the Bertha-Hewitt Verndale Raiders 7-5 on Tuesday afternoon. Six runs in the 3rd inning by the Raiders proved too much for Sebeka to overcome.
The Trojans jumped on top quickly with two runs in the bottom of the first. They loaded the bases with a William Hannu single, Isaac Tellers walk and a Caleb Puttonen single before an error by the Raiders and an RBI ground out by Mason Dailey.
The Trojans added two more in the 3rd on a single by Noah Stevens followed by a Mason Dailey single and Kolby Kiser single and a Brandon Miller sacrifice fly.
The Trojans last run was scored after Tyce Lee led off with a single William Hannu followed with another single and Tyce scored on a sacrifice fly by Isaac Tellers.
The Trojans will host Nevis on Thursday and go to Parkers Prairie on Friday.
