Sebeka started their playoff run with a 3-0 sweep of the Hillcrest Lutheran Academy Comets in Sebeka Monday night. Sebeka won 25-7 in the first set behind Morgan Palmer’s 4 kills and Megan Heino’s 7 assists. The second and third sets saw Sebeka get a lot of players into the match as all 14 girls on the roster played. Sebeka won set two 25-14 and set three 25-17. Morgan Palmer ended with 8 kills and 8 digs. Megan Heino had 13 set assists. Ava Rathcke had 9 kills, 3 ace serves, 3 solo blocks and 3 set assists. Maya Lake was the only player to record double digit digs with 13. She also added 5 kills. Tori Lee recorded her first varsity kill in the match.
Sebeka now advances to play the New York Mills Eagles on Thursday night in New York Mills at 7:00.
