The Sebeka Trojans start their season off 2-0 with victories over rivals Menahga and Wadena-Deer Creek this week. Ava Rathcke was brilliant on the rubber on Tuesday, as she threw a no hitter to lead the Trojans to a 15-0 win over Menahga. She surrendered zero runs on zero hits over four innings, striking out nine and walking one.

 

Sebeka defeated Wadena-Deer Creek 11-1 on Friday. Maya Lake was able to drive in four runs with two singles and a double going 3 for 4 at the plate to lead the Trojans. They were able to score eight runs in the fifth thanks to Lake, Rathcke, Nelson, Lee, Helland, and Lillquist. Ava Rathcke earned the win for Sebeka. She went five innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out six.

 

The Sebeka Trojans play on Tuesday night against OTC at home starting at 4:00 as part of a double header.
