Trojans News · Sebeka Falls to New York Mills

The Sebeka Trojans fell behind early in their first game and couldn’t come back in a 10-0 loss to New York Mills on Tuesday afternoon. Ava Rathcke took the loss for Sebeka. She surrendered ten runs on 11 hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out one. The Trojans were unable to get a hit off the Eagles.


The second game was a heartbreaker for the Trojans, as they were up 6-2 going into the sixth inning when things unraveled for Sebeka giving up 7 runs. The final score was 11-6. Kenzie Nelson took the loss for Sebeka. She lasted seven innings, allowing 15 hits and 11 runs while striking out three. Helland, Bullock, Lillquist, Rathcke, Lake, and Lee each collected on hit to lead Sebeka.


The Trojans play Ottertail Central Thursday afternoon starting at 4:00 in Sebeka as part of a double header.
