The Sebeka Trojans defeated Otter Tail Central 10-3 on Thursday after taking the lead late in the first game of two. The game was tied at three in the bottom on the fifth inning when the Trojans were able to score two. Sebeka was able to put up five runs in the sixth innings. Ava Rathcke, Ali Rathcke, and Lily Hellend all drove in runs in the frame. Ava Rathcke was the winning pitcher for Sebeka. She lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out two. The Trojans saw the ball well, racking up 12 hits in the game. Lake, Ali Rathcke, Nelson, and Lillquist each racked up multiple hits. Sebeka also didn’t commit a single error in the field.
In the second game the Trojans again stole the lead late in an 8-3 win. The game was tied at three with the Trojans batting in the top of the sixth when they scored three runs. The scored 2 in the seventh to seal the game. Sebeka totaled 12 hits in the game. Lillquist, Lake, Nelson, and Bullock each racked up multiple hits. Lillquist went 3 for 4 at the plate. Ava Rathcke went deep in the fifth inning hitting a home run. Rathcke also pitched seven innings, allowing six hits and three runs, striking out one, and walking one.
The Trojans next game is Monday in Parkers Prairie starting at 4:30.
