The Trojans defeated the Braves in a pitchers duel 2-1 to punch their ticket to the state tournament.  Sebeka scratched two runs across in the fifth and held on for a nail biting victory.

Spencer Lake started on the mound and pitched six superb innings to earn the win.  He allowed three hits, walked 2 and struck out 8 Menahga Braves.  Kolby Kiser pitched a perfect seventh inning to earn the save.  The pitchers were backed up by some great defense as the Trojans did not commit an error.

The two run fifth inning started with walks to Dawson Bullock, Isaac Tellers and Kolby Kiser.  Noah Stevens then delivered a RBI single to score pinch runner Brady Lake.  Mason Dailey followed with a run scoring fielder’s choice.  Tyce Lee had a double in the game.  Spencer Lake and David Avelsgard each had a single.

The Trojans will play their first game in the state tournament on Thursday June 13th. They will know their match up and time on Saturday when seedings are announced.
