Lady Trojans Basketball

The Lady Trojans will start practice on November 17th right after school.  Our first game is December 4th home vs. Henning. There will be a parent meeting at 7:00 p.m. on November 13th on conference night.  We will also be having taco in a bag for our local fundraiser from 4:00 to 6:30 on Thursday.

Practice 11/10 Cancelled

Boys basketball practice for 11/10/14 has been cancelled. Our first practice will take place tomorrow, 11/11/14 after school.

Sr. Band performance Tuesday, Nov. 11th

The Sebeka Sr. Band will perform Tuesday, November 11th at the Americanism program.  The program starts at 1:30 p.m. during the school day.

VB Plays for Sub-Section Title Tonight

The Sebeka volleyball team plays for the Section 5A North Sub-Section Championship tonight in Pierz at 7:30 against Nevis. Verndale takes on Browerville in a preceeding match at 6:00. This is only the third appearance in a Sub-Section title game in school volleyball history. The game is being broadcast tonight on radio station KWAD 920

Peterson to Compete at State

Warrior cross country runner Alyssa Peterson placed 8th at the Section 8A meet on Friday, October 24th and will compete at the state cross country meet. She will run on Saturday at 1:00 in Northfield, MN. Coach Steve Schreiber as also named as Section 8A Coach of the Year.

The Lady Warriors made it two years in a row, winning the Birch Tree conference meet.  The Warriors were led by 8th graders Alyssa Peterson (2nd place, 15:36) and Annika Aho (3rd place, 15:37) both of whom broke the record which was held by Anna Isaacson at 15:50. The girls placed 6 in the top 10

VB Starts Playoffs Tonight!

The number one seeded Sebeka Trojans Volleyball Team hosts Menahga tonight in the quarterfinals of Section 5A North Sub-Section. Sebeka received one of the four number one seeds in the Section. The match starts at 7:00. No school passes are accepted as this is a Region 5A activity. Cost of admission is $7 for adults
