Sebeka started their volleyball season with a 3-0 victory over the Bagley Flyers. Micheala Hesse led the Trojans with 14 kills and 3 blocks. Madison Lake added 33 assists and 10 digs for the Trojans (1-0).
We have changed to Lifetouch Studios for all of our pictures. They will be here Sept 3rd to take volleyball and cross country photos. The UNC Cross Country teams are sponsoring a 5k/10k walk/run/race at Wolf Lake’s HarvestFest on August 16th. Registration starts at 7:30 that morning and the races start at 9. The fall sports meeting for Trojan and Warrior athletes will be held on Monday, August 4th at 6:00 in the Sebeka School. With a jump of 5’2″, Michaela Hesse placed fourth in the high jump at the Minnesota State High School League track meet. Andrea Korvela just missed running in the finals by one second. Her time of 2:21.41 was good enough to place her 11th in state in the 800 meter run. Congratulations to these UNC
Michaela Hesse and Andrea Korvela will be representing the United North Central Track team at the Minnesota State Track Meet. Both Hesse and Korvela were champions at the Section 6A track meet last week at Moorhead. Hesse will compete in the high jump where she set a new school record at the Section 6A meet
