July 6th Summer Rec Practices Cancelled

Practices for summer rec on July 6th have been cancelled. Games scheduled for tonight should be played on time. Little League will play at Wadena for playoffs with a field time of 5:00 and game time of 6:30. 14U softball will play at home with a game time of 5:30.

Hillukka sets new personal best at State meet

Blake Hillukka set a new personal best of 6′-0″¬†while competing at the Minnesota State High School Track and Field meet today at Hamline University. ¬†Blake placed 13th in a tough boys high jump field.

Hesse Places 2nd at State!

Congratulations to senior Michaela Hesse who placed second in the High Jump at the Minnesota State High School Class A Girl’s Track Meet. Hesse completed a jump of 5’4″ to tie for first place with three other girls. Ties are broken based on missed jumps and Michaela had the second most makes at that criteria

Hesse, Hillukka Compete at State

Michaela Hesse and Blake Hillukka both compete in the Class A Minnesota State Track Meet at Hamline University in St. Paul this weekend. Hesse’s event is the Girls High Jump Class A (16 participants) – She competes on Friday 6/5/2015 at 3:30 PM. Hillukka participates in Event 51 Boys High Jump Class A (16 participants).

Final Section Track Update

UNC placed in three more events at the section tournament to round out their Section 6A showing. Blake Hillukka placed fourth in the pole vault and Jake Clements 5th. The girls 4 x 400 m relay team consisting of Savanna Jacob, Alyssa Peterson, Cierra Ahlf and Michaela Hesse placed 6th but may have set a

Hillukka Going to State

Blake Hillukka became the second UNC Warrior track athlete to qualify for the 2015 Minnesota State Track Tournament. Hillukka placed second in the high jump with a jump of 5’11”. Alyssa Peterson placed sixth in the 800 m race.

Hesse Qualifies for State

Michaela Hesse took second place in the high jump with a jump of 5’3″. The placing automatically qualifies her for the girls state track tournament. Kirby Hrdlicka finished sixth in the 100 m dash and Aaron Hrdlicka finished fourth in the long jump. They both missed qualifying.
