The Trojans won their fourth game in a row as they downed the Ottertail Central Bulldogs 8-0 on a chilly afternoon in Battle Lake.
Kolby Kiser pitched another brilliant game as he went the distance on the mound to record his fourth win of the season. He allowed only one hit, struck out ten and walked 4 Bulldogs. The Trojan defense was again solid as they did not commit an error in the game.
The bats were slow to heat up as the Trojans didn’t get a base runner until Kiser walked with one out in the fourth. Noah Stevens followed with a double for the Trojans first hit of the game. Eion Ness (courtesy runner) and Stevens scored the first two runs of the game on a wild pitch. The offense heated up after that as the Trojans ended the game with 10 hits and 8 runs.
Spencer Lake had another big day at the plate as he lined a three run homer, his third home run of the year, over the left field fence. He also had an RBI single in the game. Noah Stevens had 3 hits, scored 3 runs and had an RBI. Mason Heino had a double and a single in the game. Tyce Lee had a hit, walked twice and scored a run. Isaac Tellers had a hit and scored a run. Dawson Bullock added a run scoring single.
The Trojans will make the trip to Parkers Prairie tomorrow for a 4:30 start.
