The Trojans won their first section playoff game against Hinckley Finlayson with great pitching and by pounding out 12 hits from 7 different hitters.

Kolby Kiser dominated on the mound for the Trojans as he struck out the first nine Jaguars batters he faced and ended with 14 strikeouts in five innings of pitching. He allowed one hit, walked one and gave up one unearned run. He now has 8 wins and 0 losses on the season. Spencer Lake pitched the last two innings striking out one and he did not allow a hit.

The Trojans bats were hot up and down the entire line up with Mason Dailey getting the biggest hit with a two run home run in the third. Mason Heino also had a great game at the plate as he got 3 hits, one being a double, knocked in two runs and scored two runs. Dawson Bullock also had three hits in the game with three RBI and he scored a run. Spencer Lake had two hits including a ground rule double. Tyce Lee, Isaac Tellers and Noah Stevens each had a hit in the game as well.

Sebeka plays again on Thursday at 5 o’clock in Pierz needing one more win to qualify for the state tournament.
