A poor shooting night led to the Sebeka’s demise as Hillcrest Lutheran Academy ended the Trojans three game winning streak with a 64-59 win. 36% shooting from the field compared to the Comet’s 52% shooting would make the difference in the game. Sebeka got off to a slow start and never recovered. The Comets led 37-27 at halftime and would take the lead up to 17 points at one time before Sebeka would mount a steady comeback and cut the lead to four. Unfortunately time would run out on the Trojans and the Comets escaped with the 5 point victory.
James Clark scored 21 points and Mason Dailey added 15 points. Jack Lillquist recorded a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Sebeka hosts Nevis on Tuesday.
