The New York Mills Eagles came into the Sebeka Holiday tournament with a win under their belts against Sebeka early in the season. It looked like a repeat performance early as the Eagles controlled the first half. They would hold around an 8 point lead for most of the second half. The Trojans wouldn’t give up and would be down by 1 with a couple minutes left. Sebeka had the ball to take the lead but couldn’t come through and the Eagle went on a run to end the game and come out with a 70-63 win.
Sebeka was led by Kolby Kiser with 20 points. Dawson Bullock added 18 points. Mason Heino pitched in 9 and Brandon Miller scored 8. Isaac Kyllonen and Tyce Lee both hit three pointers. Ethan Simon rounded out the scoring with 2.
Tomorrow the Trojans play Onamia at 4:00 for 3rd place in the Sebeka Holiday Tournament. New York Mills takes on Fond du Lac at 5:30 for the championship.
