Sebeka used a strong first half to declaw the Bertha-Hewitt Bears 58-50. Sebeka led by a 32-21 score at half thanks to Mason Heino’s spark off the bench. Heino scored 9 points (2-3 three point shooting and 3-3 freethrow shooting) to get the Trojans off to a great start. Sebeka’s offense would go into hibernation at times in the second half but they made enough freethrows down the stretch to hold on. Sebeka only turned the ball over 11 times in the game and won the battle of the boards 41-36.
Sebeka was led by Kolby Kiser’s double-double with 17 points and 17 rebounds. Dawson Bullock kept up his solid play with 14 points.
