Lake and Miller Received All-State Recognition

Madison Lake and Taylor Miller, both seniors, received All-State recognition this past week. Madison, shortstop, received 1st Team All-State. Lake finished the season playing 26 games, having a .532 batting average, and tallying up 50 hits and 49 RBI’s. Taylor Miller, catcher, received All-State Honorable Mention. Miller Reaches 100 Hits

Taylor Miller, a senior, was able to bat her way to 100 hits on Wednesday afternoon against Braham in a 10-3 win. She did it in a commanding fashion as she got it hitting her 7th home run of her career. Congratulations Taylor and the Sebeka Trojans on a great season!

Sebeka Ends Season Section Runner-Up

The Sebeka Trojans season comes to an end in an 8-5 loss to Pillager on Thursday in the section final game. Sebeka took the lead early scoring one in the first, but Pillager answered back scoring five of their own. They also scored one in the second. The Trojans were able to rally back in

Ava Rathcke didn’t allow a single run as Sebeka defeated Pine River-Backus 10-0 on Thursday. Sebeka Wins Second Round of Playoffs

Ava Rathcke didn’t allow a single hit as Sebeka defeated Menahga 14-3 on Tuesday. Ava earned the win for Sebeka. She threw five innings, surrendering three runs, zero hits, and striking out five. Megan Heino joined the exclusive 100 hit club last night in Sebeka’s 28-2 playoff victory against Laporte. Heino, a junior, laid down a bunt single in the first inning to mark her spot in school softball history. She entered the season with 75 hits and now stands at 102 after  a three hit game yesterday.

Sebeka Wins First Round of Playoffs

Sebeka defeated Laporte 28-2 on Monday evening. Sebeka grabbed an early lead, scoring 11 runs in the first inning and 14 runs in the second inning. Rathcke earned the win for Sebeka. Softball Starts Playoffs #1 Seed

The Sebeka softball team received the #1 seed in Sub-Section 5A West. They start playoffs today and host Laporte in Sebeka at 5:00. A win today gets them into the double-elimination portion of the Section 5A tournament. Also, a win today will mean they host a game tomorrow, Tuesday, at 5:00. Cost to attend games

Sebeka Splits With Parkers Prairie

The Sebeka Trojans split with Parkers Prairie on Thursday afternoon. In the first game Sebeka and Parkers played a taut affair, but eventually the Trojans prevailed 11-5 after taking the lead for good in the sixth inning.
